The Reserve At Muckross Park - Kilclogherane

We had a spacious two-bedroom apartment with huge, comfy beds. The kitchen was perfect for family meals. The outdoor whirlpool was a nice touch. The location near Muckross Abbey was fine, offering beautiful runs in the morning. It was a good experience 😊

Very dated bathroom.

The hotel met needs well, I will choose the place for future trips. Had 2 nights in Killarney, spending my time here lovely. The location offered was marvellous and lovely just next door to beautiful house, gardens and then the waterfall as well as the pub. Had brunch in the Major Colgan's, located nearby. It was warm, stunning and in both bathrooms.

Staff provided attentive service, especially at check-in. Enjoyed the complimentary bike rentals for exploring the area. The kitchen lacked some essential cooking utensils, like a can opener and a serving bowl were good. Limited breakfast variety and the on-site pub felt overpriced compared to other options nearby.

The apartments are good for space, but the lack of a washer/dryer was just plain ridiculous. Who closes the indoor pool at 7pm? I seemed like royalty here, but clearly they didn't recognize that. I was so close to enjoying my stay but could just not due to this unthinkable negligence.

The kitchen was poorly equipped with very few utensils. The lack of air conditioning, especially during warmer days. Although the staff were friendly, they seemed overwhelmed, leading to delays in service at the pub.

The limited availability of slot bookings for the spa was frustrating! Clarity about amenities like air conditioning and housekeeping was also missing, leading to disappointments . The evening noise from guests was quite disruptive too.

The staff provided great service throughout my visit. The spa facilities were excellent, with treatments that enhanced relaxation. I appreciated the availability of free bikes, which allowed me to explore the area at my own pace. The dining options, including the Yew Tree Restaurant and Colgans Gastro Pub, are good choices worth visiting. I enjoyed a pleasant experience.

The hotel is the best base for a weekend in Killarney. the staff are excellent. - the units are big in both bathrooms. - This nicely decorated venue has a particularly good location near the pub, most attractions in Killarney, and the park. - Basic dishes can be found in the casual restaurant. - Thank you for a LOVELY stay.
